He was predeceased by: his parents, Masako "Martha" Hirose and Joe Atterberry Jr.; and his brother Jerry Wayne Atterberry. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Atterberry; his pet Sam; his children, Chanda Smith (John Smith) and Shaun Atterberry; his grandchildren, Hayden Smith, Heather Tempel (Charley Tempel), Shaun "Lee" Atterberry Jr., Lillian "Lilly" Sneed (Mark Sneed) and Jaxon "Lane" Smith; his siblings, James "Jim" Atterberry (Sharon Atterberry) and Rebecca "Becky" Williams (Steve Williams); and his great grandchild Iris Sneed. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Family Funeral Chapel (3 NE 3rd St, Idabel, OK 74745). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Grace Assembly Church (211 Sunrise St, Idabel, OK 74745).
