It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Strickland (Idabel, Oklahoma), born in Golden, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 25, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Eva; his brothers, Bill, Herman and Ed; and his son-in-law Ronnie Sharrock.

He is survived by: his children, Nyles (LuAnna Strickland) of Farmer's Hill, Sharon (Bill Bain) of Valliant and Kathy Sharrock of Broken Bow; and his grandchildren, Natalie Hefti, Asia Strickland, Barth (Brad Bain) and David Sharrock (Becky Cassidy). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Forest Hill Cemetery Fund.
