With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jockey Dale Martin of Idabel, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 24, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Martin and Jewell Harris Martin; his son Steve Michael Martin Sr.; his grandson Steve Michael Martin Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Keston McClure and Jaxxon Martin.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Martin; his sons, Roger Dale Martin (Heidi) and Russell Martin (Marie); his daughter-in-law Judy Martin of Texarkana, TX; and his grandchildren, Jim Martin, Daniel Martin, Les Paul Martin, Misty Newsome, Tiffany Sullivan, Suzanne Pruitt, Shane Martin and Ben Martin. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; along with many other relatives, friends.
