She was predeceased by: her husband John Kennyebrew; her parents, R. C. Compton and Elsie Faye Lawrence; her sister Crystal Daniels; her granddaughter LaSharon Carter; and her great grandchildren, Allen Larry and Dreveon Rashun.
She is survived by: her children, Quella Green, Nakeesha Carter, Timothy Carter (Cynthia), Stephanie Carter and Carlos Brown; and her siblings, Phillip Carter, Anthony Carter, Ruby Green and Katie Duckett. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
