He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Stout (Roberts) and James Stout; and his former wife Donna Stout (Edwards). He is survived by: his wife Eddye Gilley Stout; his children, Jim (Myra Stout) of Garvin, Keith (Renee Stout) of Garvin and Jody (Doug Dumont) of Moyers; his grandchildren, Mark (Gayla Massingill) of Gilmer, TX, James (Rinea Raley) of Idabel, Adam (Kristen) of Garvin, Zachary Stout of Deland, FL, Maegan Stout of Idabel, Raegan Stout of Haworth, Kameron (April) of Garvin, Johnny Stout of Idabel, Mikayla (Dustin Henderson) of Tushka, Abby Dumont of Moyers, Matthew Massingill of Gilmer, TX and Hollin Raley of Idabel; his brothers, Dean Stout of Carson City, NV and Eugene Stout of Pauls Valley; and also Sue Purvis (Stout) of Grand Saline, TX. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
