He was predeceased by: his parents, Josephine Boyles (Carter) and Charles H. Boyles; his significant other Gertrude Moss; and his siblings, Aaron L. Lewis, Mary Y. Anderson (Lewis) and Carolyn A. Boyles.
He is survived by: his children, Shedricka S. Moss, Daciette Moss, Calvin Marshall and Ryan Moss; and his siblings, Loretta Whitmore (Lewis), Charleszetta Alexander (Boyles), Gwendolyn Smith (Boyles), Willie Charles Lewis and Charles Boyles, Jr.. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
