He is survived by: his wife Norma J Carter; his daughters, Dana Jo Hobbs (Billy Jack) of Idabel, OK, Pam Sweat (Rodney Sweat) of China, TX, Gina Swope (Michael) of Simms, Kristi Cox (Ted) of Idabel, OK and Lori Whitten (Kyle) of Broken Bow, OK; his grandchildren, Billy Joe Hobbs, Wendi Driver, Brandice Wood, Zack Johnson, Jacee Ryan, Shay Sweat, Shanna Carroll, Tara Phillips, Chance Phillips, Alina Robinson, Austin Swope, Ryan Cox, Collin Cox, Colton Cox, Jacklyn Morgan, Kaylee Donaldson, Braiden Duncan and Kayla Whitten; his siblings, Linda McCoy of Idabel and Floyd Carter (Rita Carter) of Idabel; his siblings-in-law, Janette Thiele of Houston, TX and Gerald Harris (Bonnie) of Kelso, WA; and his friend C. B. Bozarth. He is also survived by thirty one great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
