It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettye Lou Shockley of Idabel, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Scott and Florence Scott; her siblings, Gerald of George, W. D., A. J., Joe, Florabell, Ellen, Loraine and Louise; her daughter Sylvia Littleton; and her grandsons, Thomas and Todd Wells.
She is survived by: her husband Gayle Kid Shockley of Idabel; her children, Marshall Littleton, Gaylon Shockley, Orion Shockley, Rosemary Dean, Amber Shockley, Becky Parsons, Patricia Gross and Carolyn Gore; her nieces, Cindy Tipton and Anita Norton; and her nephew David Scott. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many friends.
