It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anna Mae Brakebill (Idabel, Oklahoma), born in Valliant, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 12, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Buford Carter; her husband Billie Brakebill; her siblings, Otis Carter, Clifton Carter, Leon Carter and Betty Carter Proctor; and her sister-in-law Willie Duncan.
She is survived by: her stepchildren, Wayne Brakebill of Hugo, OK, Jimmy Brakebill of Powderly, TX, Tammy Brakebill of Paris, TX and Debra Oaks of Hugo, OK; her nieces, JoAnn Murray, Jimmy Hosea of Idabel, OK and Rebecca Hosea; her sisters-in-law, Nellie Sorrells of Idabel, Emma Brakebill of Washington and Patsy Brakebill of Nacogdoches, TX; and her friend Barbara Maroney. She is also survived by brother, Harold Loving and Debbie of Angola, IN; a special nephew.
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Wheelock Cemetery or any veterans organization.
