It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norma Allene Shantz (Hydro, Oklahoma), born in Volant, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 16, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Miller and Amelia Miller (Detweiler); her husband Marvin Shantz; and her siblings, Marvin Miller and Virginia Hess.
She is survived by: her children, Eldon Shantz (Ellen) of Thomas, OK, Delmar Shantz (Patty) of Minco, OK, Joy DeLeon (Irvan) of Watonga, OK and Marilyn Yoder (Duane) of Akron, PA; and her sisters, Marjorie Shantz of Thomas, OK, Geraldine Schwartz of Pulaski, PA and Rudelle Matthews of West Liberty, OH. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
