He was predeceased by: his parents, William David and Mary Ada Palmer (Wilson); his spouse Grace Marie Carter; his brother Arnold; and his children, Clint, Mary Beth and Linda.
He is survived by: his son Roy Palmer of Hydro, Oklahoma; and his sisters, Earlene Ammons of Crescent, Jean Laney of Clarendon and Virginia Manwell of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by four grandsons; and two great-grandchildren.
