He was predeceased by : his parents, Douglas Herman and Agnes Smith Herman; his son Bryan Herman; and his siblings, Louise Fuller, Norma Carter and Floyd Herman.
He is survived by : his wife Jeannie Payne; his children, Missy Penson (Marty) of Messer, OK, Marty Herman (Michelle) of Powderly, TX and Kristi Littlefield (Matt) of Wilson, OK; his daughter-in-law Melissa Herman of Moyers, OK.; his grandchildren, Meagan, Bubba, Makayla, Cameron, Caleb, Cody, Corbin, Connor, Casey and Ducky; and his sister Ramona Waugh. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
