Mac Golden Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mac Golden of Hugo, Oklahoma, born in Fort Towson, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 8, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Golden and Lula B. Golden; his daughter-in-law Julie Kay Golden (Maxwell); and his sister Betty Buckmaster. He is survived by: his wife Linda Golden of Hugo, OK; his children, Greg Golden of Edmond, OK and Lea Ann Reed (Brandon) of Glenpool, OK; his grandchildren, Mackenzie Golden (Chris Kauble) of Edmond, OK, Pepper Reed and Lewton Reed; and his brother Ed Golden.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Mac Golden Scholarship that will be awarded to a Hugo High School athlete in his honor.
