It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathy Briggs of Hugo, Oklahoma, born in Paris, Texas, who passed away on December 5, 2023, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ray McCool and Myrtle Mae McCool (Thomas); and her sister Tammy McCool. She is survived by: her husband Randal Briggs of Hugo, OK; her children, Brandon Briggs (Ashley) of Hugo, OK and Jennifer Hutson of Idabel, OK; her grandchildren, Ashton Briggs, Katelynn Briggs, Dakota Holley, Noah Holly and Trinity Holley; and her siblings, Tom McCool, Judy Miller and Sherry Jones.
