He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Edward "Buck" Hunter and Pauline Ruth Hunter (Rogers); his wife Susan Elizabeth Hunter (Hamill); and his siblings, John Douglas Hunter, Harry Doyle Hunter, David Gary Hunter, Jimmie Allen Hunter, Charles Edward Hunter, Billy Gene Hunter, Jerry Wayne Hunter and Patsy Ruth Thompson.
He is survived by: his son Scott Howard Hunter (Claudia) of Garland, TX; his sister Judy Campbell of Hugo, OK; and his siblings-in-law, Mark Hamill of Hugo, OK, Frances Harrison of Hugo, OK, Goldie Caldwell of Gatesville, TX, Marion Nix of McAllen, Barbara Hunter of Hugo, OK and Sharon Hunter of Hugo, OK. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Miller and Miller Funeral Home - Hugo (3151 E Jackson St, Hugo, OK 74743). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
