With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gerene Annette Taylor (Hugo, Oklahoma), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 14, 2025 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Rhodes and Fannie Rhodes (Forbus); her husband Johnny Taylor; and her siblings, Glenn Rhodes, Arvin "Dusty" Rhodes, Foy Rhodes, Dr. Jerry Rhodes and Willene Faris (Rhodes).
She is survived by: her children, Emily, Howard and David Lee Houchen; her family, Emily Whitbeck (Mike) of Hugo, OK and Howard Houchen (Jeannie) of Hugo, OK; her great grandchildren, Michael Whitbeck, Hudson Houchen, Harper Houchen and Harrison Houchen; and also, Blake Whitbeck (Hollie) of Hugo, OK, Collin Houchen (Kristen) of Hugo, OK, Jared Houchen, Navy and Deployed Abroad.
