It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dava June Newman of Hugo, Oklahoma, born in Cunningham, Texas, who passed away on December 14, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Curtis O'Neal and Lula Gladys O'Neal (Young); her former husband Eli Williams Jr.; her siblings, Paul O'Neal, Lawrence O'Neal, Helen Ashford, Jo Archibald, Alma Cook, Ruth Tucker and Betty Clark; and her former husband Eli Willliams Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Haden Newman; her children, Karen Foster, Jo Carter, Dana Patterson, Rhonda Kerr and Allen Newman; and her grandchildren, Candice Sharrock, Jeremy Patterson, Joe Green, Keith Patterson, Dakota Foster, John Newman, Joshua Newman, Matthew Newman, Shane Newman and Stephanie Robbins. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren along with a host of other nieces, nephews, other family member, friends.
