He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaught Vaught and Odena Williams Vaught; his wife Marilyn Hester; and his siblings, Jerry Vaught and Dorris Purcell.
He is survived by: his children, Coy Vaught (Rhonda) of Valliant, Oklahoma, Carla McClain (Neal) of Grant, Oklahoma and Terry Wilkins (Maria) of Ft. Towson, Oklahoma.; his grandchildren, Jayson Pollard (Malinda), James Vaught, Mya McClain, Marlin Vaught (Deidra), Shelbie Vaught, Brandon Wilkins and Alyssa Wilkins; and his great grandchildren, Jackson, Mallory Pollard, Bentley, Brileigh, Brody, Bradley and Blakleigh Vaught.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Prater-Lampton-Mills & Coffey Funeral Home (216 E Jackson St, Hugo, OK 74743). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Ft. Towson Cemetery.
