She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Monroe and Alta Monroe; her husband Travis Owen; her son-in-law Mike Gallagher; and her brothers, Dale and Ronnie Monroe.
She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Lynn Gallagher; her sister Linda McDaniel (Billy McDaniel); her sister-in-law Billie "Sisty" Monroe; her grandson Mark Hammons; and her great grandchildren, Evan and Patrick Hammons. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM.
