He is survived by: his children, Arthea Tempel of Buckhorn, OK, LaRinda Vaughan of Poteau, OK, Wanda Freeman and Arthur B. Freeman, Jr.; his grandchildren, Charles Tempel, Kathryn Tempel, Marc Blair and Jasmin Blair; his great grandchild Atlus James Blair; and his sister Joyce Moler.
