With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence John Balzer of Hooker, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 14, 2022 at the age of 100. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John V. Balzer and Justina S. Hamm Balzer; his former wife Patricia Bryant Balzer; his wife Martha Wiens Balzer; his sister Evelyn; his brother-in-law Dr. Leonard Wall; and also Charles Brisendine.
He is survived by: his children, Dr. Larry Balzer (Gaye Lynn) of Hooker, Sandra Brisendine of Liberal, Connie Brandel (Dan) of Coeur and Alene; and his stepchildren, Steve Bryant (Donna), Borger, Larry Bryant (Kim), Tyrone and Tanya Love.
This was during the height of the Covid Pandemic, so adjustment was difficult due to visiting and other restrictions.
