It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Montoya of Hooker, Oklahoma, born in Dalhart, Texas, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hidalgo and Cecilia Hidalgo (Vigil); her siblings, Richard Hidalgo and Patsy; her nephews, Conrad Hidalgo, James Hidalgo and Dustin Lewis; and her niece Dedie Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Montoya; her children, Carmel Henson (Jeremy) of Houston, Robby Montoya (Kristi) of Moore and Philip Montoya (Ashley) of Moore; her siblings, Paulette Taylor (Randy) of Duncan, Becky Hidalgo of Elmore City, Rosie Bolles (Larry) of Duncan, Ronnie Hidalgo (Joan) of Elmore City and Paul Hidalgo (Kim) of Hooker; her grandchildren, Hunter, Hannah, Chelsea, Dakota, Dedra, Justin, Devyn, Emily, Jacob, Elliana and Mason; and her great grandchildren, Kaiden, Kinsley, Kennedy and Cooper.
