She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Akers and Shirley Kay Akers (Wilcox); her uncles, Ronny Wilcox and Tony Wilcox; and her aunt Sandra Dyer (Sandi).

She is survived by: her husband William Owens (Stoney); her children, Katherine Owens and Preston Owens (Hannah Tucker); her children-in-law, Cassie, Ericka, John, Rachel, Reb and Chelsey; her sisters, Marla Peugh of Chelsea, OK, Candi Eslick (Olvin) of Talala, OK and Lisa Sack (Tom) of Oregon; her grandchildren, Erin McEntire, Avery McEntire, Hadley McEntire, Arabella Prock, Rory Prock, Rowyn Prock and Maesyn Prock; her uncles, Rick Wilcox (Judy) of Claremore and John Wilcox (Glenda) of Kansas; and her aunt Sharon Robinson (Rick) of Tennessee.
