She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil "Mutt" Nichols and Mary Francis Nichols (Henton); and her sister Sarah "Liz" Swanson. She is survived by: her husband Dale Leon Sharpnack; her sons, Jim Sharpnack (Donna) of Shawnee, Kansas and Scott Sharpnack (Michelle) of Arlington, Virginia; her siblings, Virgil Nichols (Barbara) of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Janet Bode of Franklin; and her grandchildren, Logan, Mary and Sutton. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
