Joyce Sisson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Sisson of Hominy, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 3, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Carl and Louise Baker (Freudenthaler); her husband Raymond Earl Sisson; and her grandson Braden Ray. She is survived by: her children, Mike (Connie Sisson) and Anita (Gary Fry); her brother Ken Baker of Bartlesville; her grandchildren, Michael, Eric, Kaitlin Sisson and Ryan Wooten; and her daughters, Jeanie Harman (Schwenker) of Florence Alabama and Lynn Cook (Schwenker) of Florence Alabama. She is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Christian Church (202 S Wood Ave, Hominy, OK 74035). A burial was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:15 PM to 3:15 PM at the A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the First Christan Church of Hominy.
