He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy W. Martin and Mary Alice Martin (McKinney). He is survived by: his wife Vicki Irene Shoup; his children, Wendi Lewis (Doug) of Clinton, Traci Large (Bert) of Sand Springs and Brad Martin (Becky) of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; his siblings, Bob Martin of Choctaw and Mary Pottorff (Ken) of Flora, Illinois; his grandchildren, Brian (Roxy), Brandon (Taylor), Seth and Maddie; and his great grandchildren, Bennett and Nathan. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.

Family has requested memorial donations be made in honor of Jim to Oklahoma Blood Institute or Oklahoma Heart Association.
