It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Eli Prater of Hominy, Oklahoma, born in Adair, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 21, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Nina Kay; and his children, Carla Kay Prater and Jeffrey Carl Prater. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Theresa Cowan (Nappy), Noonie Yarbrough (Gary), Corey Prater (Shannon), Jill Mowrey (Larry), Bradley Garrison, Mark Garrison (Rocio), Joey Smart, Michael Garrison and Jean Briscoe; his grandchildren, Jorey Cowan (Andrea), Cammi Canady (Dennis), Logan Yarbrough (Makena), Dylan Ray, Garrett Prater (Jessica), Jaylin Ray, Robert Garrison, Richard Scroggins, Amy, Brittinie Perry, Jennifer, Heather Toyne (Casey) and Leslie Briscoe; his great grandchildren, Jarrett Canady, Ellie Rae Prater, Kennie Jean Prater, Harley Scroggins, Nathan Scroggins, Grace Scroggins, Karleigh Perry, Kylianna Perry, Charlie Stammer and Eli Briscoe; and his pet Kassey.
