He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hill Gilbert; and his siblings, Raymond Owen Gilbert (Ann) of Arkansas, Lainial David Gilbertand (Nelda) of Altus, Oklahoma and Caro Mae Hollis of Amarillo. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
