She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Mose Byrd and Althea Ross Byrd (Tabor); and her brother-in-law Bill Bilbrey. She is survived by: her husband Dayle Penington; her son Jimmy Dayle "J. D."; her granddaughters, Kimberly Dugger (Michael) of Hollis and Charity Martin (Clayton) of Altus; her great grandchildren, Heather, Abby, Dexter and Claire; her sister-in-law Gayle Bilbrey of Amarillo; and also Carolyn Abla. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins.
