He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Burris and Clara May Burris (Vaughn); and his brothers, Donald Ray Burris (Johnnie Burris) and LeRoy Burris. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ingram; and his children, Pamela Burris Allen, Odell, Jr., Lee Burris, Wayne Burris, Christy Burris, Michael Burris and Tammy Ingram.
