She was predeceased by: her parents, Terrel "Fats" Boyd and Glen Boyd (Byrd); her husband Gene Harold Harrison; her daughter Tammy Taylor; and her sister Sandra Simmons.

She is survived by: her former spouse Allie Lee Otto, Jr.; her children, Stacy Macias and Curtis Harrison (Lynda); her grandchildren, Traci Earls, Tosha Chesar (John), Shala Harrison and Aric Walton; and her friend Frances. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren, numerous nephews, nieces.
