He is survived by: his mother Lana Cole; his children, Brooklynn, Bayleigh and Boston Schmidt; his brothers, Blake (Krista Schmidt) and Kevin Smith Jr.; his nieces, Karrigan and Kiryn Schmidt; his grandmothers, Linda Taylor Hines, Juanita Cole and Shirley Smith; his aunts and uncles, Lyndell (Sheila Cole), Johnnie Smith, Lance Cole, Lisha Strickland, Robin Smith, Lesly Nix, Lori Clark, Kathy Dennis and Kim Williams; and his great-uncle Larry (Marti Taylor).
