It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Ann Smith in Holdenville, Oklahoma, born in Wetumka, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 1, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvel Burkes and Margaret Burkes (Baldwin); her husband Earl Wayne Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Billy Dean Price, Edward Smith, Dolen Swayze and Anna Smith.
She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Tyra (Alan) of Wetumka and Barbara Lewis of Seminole; her sister Wanda Price of Wetumka; her sisters-in-law, Elvania Swayze and Pat Smith of Okemah; her grandchildren, Chris Lewis (Ashton), Lynsey Zamora (Noe), Travis Tyra (Zoey) and Shalan Dockery (Jimmy); and her great grandchildren, Jordan Lewis, Madison Lewis, Riley Thomas, Carter Thomas, Kiah, Kade, Khloe Lewis, Mika Winters, Cruz Zamora, Jaxton, Zayden, Taelyn Tyra, Addy, Sarah, Ember and Jase Dockery.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home (403 S Main St, Wetumka, OK 74883). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
