She was predeceased by: her parent Annie Gooden; and her siblings, Maureen Harjo and Malcolm Tiger. She is survived by: her former husband Richard Simpson; her husband David Owen, Sr.; her sons, Aaron Simpson (Tammy) and Isaac Simpson of Tulsa; her siblings, Louise Scott, Madelyn Trusty, Martin Joshua (Alice) and Eddie Gooden (Carol); and her sister-in-law Betty Tiger. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
