She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Cross and Gladine Cross (Anderson); her husband T. J. Sossamon; her children, Ruth Richardson and Wayne Madron; and her siblings, Irene Cooper, Christine Summerton, Ruth Cullum, David'L. D.' Cross and Edsil Cross.
She is survived by: her children, George Madron of Fitzhugh, Rosette Merriman (Dirl) of Holdenville, Kay Ethridge (Randy) of Stroud, Vicky Brooks (Jackie) of Connerville and Rick Madron (Susan) of Holdenville; her siblings, Donna Robinson of Seminole, Lois Madron of Wewoka and Lloyd Cross (Judy) of Spaulding; and her stepdaughters, Shannon Posey and Mary Owens. She is also survived by thirty-seven grandchildren, ninety-eight great grandchildren, and sixty-one great great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Legacy Church (310 N Echo St, Holdenville, OK 74848).
