He was predeceased by: his parents, W. F. Morphis and Willie Mae Morphis (Harris); and his siblings, Amos, Robert, Donald Morphis and Mary Underwood.

He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Jeff Morphis (Freida), Betty June Majors (Mark) of Holdenville and Carla Mae Shed (Gene) of Holdenville; his siblings, Gervis Richard Morphis of Cromwell, Johnny Lee Morphis (JoAnn) of Cromwell, Helen Brown of Cromwell, Carolyn Chesser (Bill) of New Lima and Patsy Morphis of Cromwell; his grandchildren, Mitchell Gosey (Alicia) of Holdenville, Morgan, Jewels Gosey of Shawnee and Jacob Morphis of Wetumka; and his great grandchild Michelle Raley of Edmond.
