He is survived by: his children, James Howarth (Mary Jane) and Beverly Horton of Tulsa; his grandchildren, Dr. Kevin James Howarth (Sarah) of Tulsa and Heather Duvall (Matt) of Tulsa; and his brother Edward Howarth of Dodge City, KS.. He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
