He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Sloan and Oleta Mae Sloan (Fine); his sons, Steven Smith and James Smith; his siblings, Doyle and Frieda; his aunt Betty Tipton; and his cousin Buddy Tipton.
He is survived by: his children, Cary Smith, Sissy Smith, Mary Smith and Amy Smith; and his grandchildren, Nikki, Cody Smith, Tanner, Tia, Breanna Smith, Tiffany, Jordan Smith, Lindsey, Meagan and Rebecca Bush. He is also survived by many greatgrandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
