He was predeceased by: his parents, Donnie Clarence and Ruby Lou Smith (McDowell); his brother-in-law Bart Axtell; his nephew Chris Axtell; and his niece Tammy Axtell.
He is survived by: his wife Calene; his children, Chad Smith, Mandy Ivie (Bobby) and Sonya Hall (Chuck); his grandchildren, Caleigh McDonald (Briar), Stationed, Madison Roach (Trent), Tanner Ivie, Ty Ivie, Taylor Ivie, Holly Hall, Hobart and Jackson Hall; his great grandchildren, Aiden and Greyson; and his granddaughter Shelby Tate Numerous. He is also survived by Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and other extended Family.
