He was predeceased by: his parents, Ida Mae Maxwell (Myrna McCurdy) and Samuel M. McCurdy; and his sisters, Dorothy Smith, Gracie Holt and Retha West.
He is survived by: his wife Myrna Pineda Samson; his sons, Patrick McCurdy, Christopher McCurdy (Jackie) of San Antonio, TX and Richard McCurdy of Mission, TX.; and his grandchildren, Christopher, Jocelyn, Jenna, Jaelynn, Janelle, Phoenix, Hailie and Alana. He is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ray & Martha's Funeral Home (306 W 11th St, Hobart, OK 73651). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (115 S Jefferson St, Hobart, OK 73651). A burial was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at the Gotebo Cemetery.
