He was predeceased by: his parents, Purl Oliver Grose and Ruth Zella Grose (Conard); his son-in-law Gerald McSchooler; his brother Richard Grose; and his grandsons, Karl Platte and Kevin Platte.
He is survived by: his wife Lois Ilona Dixon; his children, Clay Grose of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma, Melody McSchooler of Riverton, Gail Platte (Kenny) of Aspermont and Cindy Shuck (James Kadlec); and his brother David Grose (Nancy) of San Diego, California. He is also survived by six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
