She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Ann Kuykendall (Wilson) and Oscar Kuykendall; her husband Kenneth VanTassel; her son Eugene VanTassel; and her siblings, Imogene Jeffcoat, Vivian Cooper, Joe Kuykendall, Milburn Kuykendall, Harvey Kuykendall and Polly Kuykendall.
She is survived by: her children, Stella Tillman, Zequeatta Jaques (Steve) of Hinton, OK, Zepha Roppel (Julius) of Ada, OK, Kenneth Demoain VanTassel (Pressy) of Ada, OK, Lavada VanTassel and Dean Roseberry of Hinton, OK; her grandchildren, Steve Miller (Kim), Shaunell Brown (Justin), Zavior Willis (Riley), Natalie Meiwes (Henry), Natasha Warren (Dave), Travis VanTassel (Stephanie), Tyrie VanTassel (Amber), Memery Roppel, Zakora Griffin (Ben), Jayden Roppel (Joanna), Jesse VanTassel, Joshua VanTassel (Cassy), Okal VanTassel, Taloa Roberts (Tanner), Sunhawk Hill (Melissa), Nashoba Hill (Stephanie), Hatuk Hill (Sheila), Nashae Kelley (Colton), Kethan VanTassel and Rain Boling (Kase); and her sisters, Wanda Timmons (David), Luella Carter and Mona VanTassel (Vernon).
A memorial service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Hinton Pentecostal Holiness Church (1400 N Broadway St, Hinton, OK 73047).
