He was predeceased by: his parents, Denvil Eugene and Elizabeth Ann Butler (Brown); his stepmother Pauline Butler; his brothers, Tim Butler and Jimmy; and his sister-in-law Margie Folsom.
He is survived by: his wife Aline Butler; his children, Kent Butler of Weatherford, Keith Butler (Tammie) of Weatherford and Kandi Vowell (Ty) of Hinton; his grandchildren, Brooke Fuller (Kyle) of Hinton, Brady Butler (Bethany) of Geary, Bailey Murray (Ethan) of Hinton, Tanner Butler (Christina) of Weatherford, Tate Butler of Fairview, Kyler Vowell of Hinton and Logan Vowell (Kirsten) of Porter; his great grandchildren, Kaidence, Beniah, Judah, Jubilee, Gabriel, Josheb, Zipporah, Phineas, Hadassah, Everly, Malachi, Jeremiah, Zachary, Zane, Zander, Zoey, Gracelynn and Jaxtyn; his sisters, Pam Pearson (Jim) of Stigler and Connie Jones (L. D.) of Tahlequah, OK; and his brother-in-law Wendell Folsom. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (123 N Spencer, Hinton, OK 73047).
