He was predeceased by: his father Eugene Jackson; his pet Ellie Mae; his mother Fern Ellis (Onstott); his son Marlon Bucko Ellis; his grandchildren, Dakota Walls and Alissa Ellis; his daughter-in-law Janice Ellis; and his siblings, Edna Frost, Pauline Roan, Marvin, Jay and Elza.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Ellis; his children, Tammy Jo Ellis of El Reno, OK, Michael David Ellis of Hinton, OK and Scotty Eugene Ellis of Hinton, OK; his grandchildren, Amy Gail Pope of Minco, OK, Kayla Nicole McLemore (Cassidy) of Gracemont, OK, Kaci Danelle Farrar (Tanner) of Kingfisher, OK, Alicia Rochelle McNeil (Dakota) of Perkins, OK, Ryan Cole Ellis (Faith) of Clinton, OK, Thomas Eugene Ellis of Hinton, OK and Joshua David Ellis of Hinton, OK; and his sister Mary Lou Simms of Elk City, OK. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
