Vernon Leroy Long Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Vernon Leroy Long of Henryetta, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Crayton Long Sr. and Josephine Catherine Long (Cobb); his siblings, Herbert Long, Thomas Long, Thomas Hebert Long, Bill Long Jr., Louise Williams, Dovie Burns, Viola Burns, Bernice McKay and Thelma Harelson; and his son Leroy Long.
He is survived by: his wife Cleotilde Long; his children, Steven Long, Crayton Long, Vernon Long Jr., Danny Long, Verna Long, Katherine Long and Susan Booth; and his stepdaughter Donna Morrison. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
