He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Viersen (Freeman); and his grandparents, Maude (Henderson), William Freeman, Estol and Clara Shurden.
He is survived by: his daughter Stormy Shurden (Joel Harris) of Beggs; his grandsons, Joel Junior Harris and Julian Harris of Beggs; his father Frank Shurden; his stepmother Kathryn Shurden of Henryetta; and his siblings, Mark Shurden of Morris, Shelly Minahan of Euless, Susan Shurden of Morris, Winter Whitlock of Henryetta, Autumn McClain of Henryetta and Mandy Brumley of Henryetta. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rogers Funeral Home (1302 W Main St, Henryetta, OK 74437). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
