He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Thompson and Etta Thompson Timmons (Griswold); his sons, David Thompson and Terence Thompson; his daughter-in-law Janice Thompson; his great grandchild Avery Moore; and his parents-in-law, Ted and Ida Bell Wade.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Darlene Wade; his daughters, Denise Speer of Wichita, Kansas and Susie Dunn (Phil) of Houston, Texas; his daughters-in-law, Earlene Thompson and Michele Thompson; his grandchildren, Darian Speer (Amy), David Thompson (Amber), Michael Thompson (Billie), Jennifer Clopton (Eric), Rachel Speer (Michelle), Ashlee Moss (Brian) and Michael Burnash; his sister Frieda Van Zant of Arizona; his sister-in-law Geraldine Mordecai of Henryetta; and his pet April. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, a host of friends, other relatives.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
