She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Melvin Hale and Mary Etta Hale (Watts); her husband William Boyd Layman, Sr.; her children, Robert Anthony Layman and Clara Jean Layman; her siblings, Helen McCullar, Louise Reneau, Dorothy Layman and Robert "June" Hale; her sons-in-law, Troy S. Williams and Rick Tarkington; and her grandson James Shourd.
She is survived by: her children, Norma Layman of Phoenix, Arizona, Mary Ruiz (Richard) of Morris, William Layman Jr. (Donna), Donna Layman (Ron) and Brian Layman (Courtney); and her son-in-law Eulis Lemon. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren 39 great grandchildren 19 great-great grandchildren.
