He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Jones Chowins and Grace Rovella Chowins (Hayden); and his sister Ann Tesney. He is survived by: his former wife Carolyn Ann Hall; his wife Ann Chowins; his sons, Todd Chowins of Oklahoma City and Ted Chowins (Susie) of Henryetta; his grandchildren, Hunter Chowins (Brawna) of McAlester and Aulden Chowins of Henryetta; his great grandchildren, Ryder Padgett, Anna Padgett, Walker Padgett, Tuff Chowins and Knox Chowins; and his brothers, W. J. Chowins of Wetumka and Kenneth Chowins (Esther). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
