She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Dale Herring; her children, Steven Herring, Andrea Herring of Oklahoma City, OK and Heather Herring of Miami, OK; her pet Maggie; her grandchildren, Kirstin Cooper, Dalton Cooper, Bre Herring and Landon Lawson; her brothers, Jimmy Lame of Tulsa, OK and Larry Lame (Yolonda) of Savanna, OK; and her close friend Betty Jo.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society in Katherine's name.
